Born and raised in the ever expanding culinary city of Philadelphia, Tom gained an appreciation for the finer things at a very young age. His first venture into a kitchen was at The Manor Penn Village when he was just 17 years old. From there, he held positions in some of his hometown’s most well respected eateries before making the leap to Rhode Island to attend Johnson and Wales University. During his 4 years there, he worked in all facets of the industry including catering and cooking in high volume establishments. After graduation, he joined the team at Avenue N American Kitchen as a line cook. In less than a year, he was promoted through the ranks and was appointed the title of Chef in September of 2016. Tom is a invaluable member of our culinary team and when he's not in our kitchen, he enjoys dining around, outdoor activities, and sipping on a Jameson mule. Plus his name is Rambo, and seriously, what’s better than that???
