Avenue N / Chef de Cuisine
With a family history rich in farming and foraging its no wonder Evan was drawn to the the food industry. His impressive eleven year career began when he moved to Rhode Island to attend Johnson and Wales University. Evan studied Baking and Pastry which is still a valuable tool in his diverse repertoire, but it is his passion for savory foods that keep diners lining up night after night. After working at some of Rhode Islands most notable restaurants he joined the team at Avenue N in 2015 as Sous Chef.
His commitment and unbreakable calm is the cornerstone that the entire kitchen is built around. After tirelessly working to keep improving our ever evolving operation, Evan was promoted to Chef de Cuisine in 2018. His boundless approach to seasonal foods and dedication to using local products is notable throughout the entire menu. Evan looks forward to years of continuing to create new, innovative dishes with Nick, Tracy and the entire culinary team. When he’s not in the kitchen (which is not often) Evan can likely be found running or listening to his favorite tunes, He is a music aficionado who enjoys physical fitness, a fine scotch and long distance running.
