Sergio Sosa a Central Falls native has spent the last 12 years of his career perfecting his culinary skills. After graduating from high school Sergio immediately entered the hospitality business after spending much of his youth expressing his Spanish heritage in his family's kitchen. From his humble beginnings as a prep cook he quickly worked his way up through the ranks of several Rhode Island restaurants including the iconic Sakis Pizza in Providence
Sergio's skills were invaluable as an opening manager for Five Guys in Seekonk where he spent 3 years training staff and managing the day to day operations of a successful chain. Realizing that his passion and creativity needed space to grow he took the position of Lead Line Cook at the popular Billy's in Barrington where he flawlessly executed classic American far in a high paced environment.
Joining the team at Avenue N Restaurant Group in 2015 Sergio took on the role of Sous Chef where he gained the instant respect of the culinary team for his dedication, work ethic and culinary expertise. Sergio has become an essential spoke in the wheel of our growing restaurant company and has played a major role in the development of our new location in Providence. When Sergio is not at work (which is not very often) he enjoys spending time at home with a great margarita and cooking dinner for his wife Evelyn.
